Life Magazine photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt said “It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter”. Allison and Jonathan are one of those couples that you can’t help enjoy. Cute, fun loving and great conversationalist are just a few of the attributes that make them a delight.
We are so glad that we were finally able to connect with them Sunday. The choice of Irvine Regional Park and Laguna Beach fit their nature style perfectly. It was wonderful to see them again.
The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of the most striking and photographed building in downtown Los Angeles. The reflective surface and narrow walkways allow for amazing lighting and dramatic effects. It’s one of my favorite places… and the ideal spot for a young couple to show off their love.
Monday evening was perfect; Ashley and Adrian have the look of movie stars in a classic Hollywood romance. They were an absolute joy to photograph and I love the way these images turned out.
Saturday was a wonderful relaxing day. Julie’s college friend was in town with her kids. We decided to go to the recently re-opened Echo Park were the kids could play, the adults could talk and I could take pictures.
I love photographing kids at play. They are so natural and relaxed that they just shine.
I never really thought of Los Angeles as a destination for weddings. I’d heard of people flying off to Fiji, Bora Bora even Thailand. After all, Los Angeles is the place we all leave when we go on vacation. Then I got an inquiry from a bride in Norway and the thought hit me. Why not LA, between Hollywood, Disneyland, the Pacific Ocean, our beaches and the best weather on the planet. It’s a great spot for a wedding anytime of the year.
Karoline and Kurt are so funny and cute; they are amazing together. It was such a joy to work with them.
We wish them the very best and a warm fire to cuddle by this winter.
